Community Open Sew Events (Beginner - Advanced level)
Community Open Sew events are free and open to anyone who wants to come and sew. Registration is required as seating is limited.
You are welcome to bring your own projects OR you can use Rachel Ann's scrap bins to create a one-of-a-kind fidget square that will be donated locally. Stumped by your current project? Bring it along and maybe we can figure it out together. Just learning? That's awesome! Come and ask questions as you sew.
You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine and tools (scissors, pins, etc.). Rachel Ann has a few sewing machines that are available to reserve for these events. Please indicate on your registration form if you would like to use a class machine.

Class and Retreat participants receive a 10% discount on all purchases for or during their paid event. All classes are non-refundable. If you want help selecting your supplies or tools, please stop in before class day, I'd love to help you.

Chromatic Beauty Quilt - Block of the Month Kit
(97” x 97" approximate finished size)
Introducing a stunning 12-month Block of the Month kit featuring the mesmerizing Gelato collection by Maywood Studio. This kit embraces the captivating beauty of ombre fabrics, creating a visual spectacle against a striking black background. The ombre fabrics radiate a vibrant glow, enhancing the overall appeal of the quilt. With a finished size of 97" x 97", this project promises to be an impressive centerpiece, showcasing the artistry of the Gelato collection. Each month, participants will unveil new blocks, gradually piecing together a masterpiece that celebrates the harmonious blend of colors and the art of quilting.
Kit includes pattern and fabric to make the top and the binding. Backing sold separately. For backing you will need 8-3/4 yards of 43/44" wide OR 3 yards of 108" wide. Batting sold separately. Several blocks use templates. Paper templates are included in the pattern.
The BOM kits are reserved with a $29.99 non-refundable deposit. Deposit will be applied to your first months block. You will be invoiced $29.99 on the 1st of the month for months 2-12. Your monthly block kit will be available for pickup in studio or curbside after the first of each month. If you need your monthly blocks shipped, please call for a shipping quote.
Recommended for confident beginners to more experienced. Remember if you need help, you can always sign up for a Free Open Sew event.

Memory Bear
